The Ulster 9 Counties Boys & Girls Novice championships had an impressive entry of 139 boxers.
Twenty eight contests were decided on the first day of competition.
The boxing will continue at the Tyholland Centre on Tuesday 30th starting at 7.30pm and will conclude on Saturday 3rd November.
Weigh-ins for the Finals will take place from 9.30 – 10.30 am with the boxing starting at 11am.

Meanwhile, please find attached circular for the Ulster Intermediate championships, the weigh-ins will take place at the 3 appointed venues from 9.30 – 10.30am on Sunday 4th November.
The championships will be contested over 13 weights for the men and women.
