Beginning Friday (August 17th), the IABA will run a National Open Special Schoolboys Competiition at the National Stadium in Dublin ahead of the European Schoolboy Championships in Russia.
The 2012 European Schoolboy Championships, the 10th in the edition, are scheduled to glove off at the Black Sea holiday resort of Anapa on October 1st.
Ireland’s Victor Medveduic and Gerard Whitehouse claimed a bronze medal each at the 2009 European Schoolboy Championships which were also held in Anapa.
