OLYMPIC GAMES – TIMES AND DRAWS

John Joe Nevin and Darren O’Neill will get Ireland’s campaign at the 2012 Olympics underway tomorrow.

 

Irish team captain Darren O’Neill (pictured) and John Joe Nevin will be aiming to join Paddy Barnes and Michael Conlan in the last-16 at the Olympics Games in London tomorrow.

Both Nevin and O’Neill  will be between the ropes on Saturday afternoon to open Ireland’s campaign at the 2012 games.

Adam Nolan will also be aiming to reach the last-16 this weekend. The Wexford welterweight meets Carlos Sanchez Estacio of Ecuador on Sunday evening.

Barnes and Conlan received byes into the last-16 and will be in action on August 3rd and 4th.

Number one seed Katie Taylor received a bye into the quarter-finals on August 6th.
