Twenty five limited edition Olympic boxing gloves are still available for sale from the IABA.

Ireland’s Olympic medallists, John Joe Nevin, Michael Conlon and Paddy Barnes, have offered their support to the next generation of Irish boxers by signing 25 limited edition white boxing gloves which come in a glass presentation case.

These gloves will become collector items which will increase in value and each comes with its own certificate of authenticity.

The gloves can be purchased as personal keep sakes or as a fundraising venture to bring much needed funds into your organisation. Methods of fundraising include raffling tickets at €5 each for the glove or getting club members to sell lines at €2 per line with 20 lines on a card.

These special gloves can be purchased from Stephen Molloy (Schoolboy Fundraising Committee) at 087-2021449.

The gloves are only €400 each.

Buyers are advised to act quickly as only 25 exist and they will sell fast.

All monies raised from the sale of these gloves will go towards the cost of sending the Irish Team to the European Schoolboy Championships in October and then sending a female team to the European Youth/Junior Women Championships in November.
