Jason McKay and Gary Cully scooped two of the top awards as Ireland beat the Russian number 2 team 6-5 in the Veles Cup Round Robin in the Oblast region of Russia on Saturday.
McKay, a silver medal winner at the 2012 European Junior Championships in Bulgaria, collected one of the best Technical Boxer awards and Cully was presented with the Will to Win and Endeavour award.
Russian lightweight Konstantin Mishechkin picked up the Best Boxer award at the tournament which was won by the Russia national team. The USA Junior Olympic side and Germany were also competing in the Oblast.
Mishechkin, meantime, was asked some serious questions by young Jack Connolly on Saturday before being handed a 7-4 decision over the Tipperary stand out.
Meanwhile, McKay can consider himself to be very unlucky to have lost out on a razor thin countback margin to Vyacheslav Drobnyy in the light-flyweight class.
Ryan Greene, Colm Molloy, Connor Burns, Caomihin Hynes, Michael Gallagher and James Hughes claimed victories for Ireland against the host nation to cap a fine tournament for the Boys In Green.
Ireland drew 6-6 with the USA, beat Germany 9-2 and lost 8-4 to the Russia National team before beating the Russian number 2 side 6-5.
The Irish squad arrived home on Sunday last.
