Ireland recorded two wins out of three at the 16th European Junior Championships today.

Ulster aces Darren Pollock and Lewis Crocker booked their tickets into the last-16 of the European Junior Championships in Bulgaria this afternoon.
But Aaron Kelly bowed out despite a brave performance against talented Russian light-heavyweight Marat Kerimkhanov in Sofia.
Pollock got the better of a see-saw tussle with Latvian featherweight Jegors Artjomovs to emerge with a one-point margin of victory.
And Crocker followed that up with an impressive 15-6 decision over Huseyn Tarverdili of Azerbaijan in the Bulgarian capital.
Meanwhile, current European Schoolboy champion John Joyce and Michael Gallagher bowed out despite brave performances yesterday.
Both boxers were one point down after the second round versus Viktor Petrov of the Ukraine and Uladzimir Tsitou of Belarus.
