On Day Two of its 2012-2013 Meeting in Bangkok, Thailand, the AIBA Executive Committee today (July 9th) awarded the 2013 AIBA Junior World Championships to Kiev (Ukraine), the 2014 AIBA Youth World Championships to Sofia (Bulgaria) and the 2014 AIBA Women’s World Championships to Canada.
Katie Taylor claimed her 4th AIBA World lightweight title in-a-row in China this year. Joe Ward claimed gold at the 2009 AIBA World Junior Championships in Armenia and gold at the 2010 World Youth Championships in Azerbaijan.
